base slips right off the globe once birds try to use it The bottom does not screw onto the globe well. Once the hummingbirds find it and start to use it the bottom separates and falls to the ground. Any weight just pulls it down as I tried to refill. I can see just my finger tip on the perch part makes it all slip off.Very disappointed because this looks so pretty and did attract the hummingbirds.Update to my first review : When seller saw I returned I was immediately contacted and when I explained why and that the base did not break…
Really Pretty on Patio Nice looking feeder but if not assembled correctly can have issues, as I believe was the problem with Williams 1 star rating. The red gasket that comes with the feeder needs to be fitted over the rim of the red plastic bottom, followed by setting the gold dome part with the flowers on it over the bottom (sits on the gasket), then that assembly screws into the glass nectar reservoir. The box INCORRECTLY states to mix nectar at a 3 to 1 ratio which is wrong. The nectar must be mixed 4 parts…
